Luiz’s comments after Chelsea stop Man City unbeaten run

“We accepted we had to suffer when we had to suffer. We had a lot of humility, and then we took our chances to score. We did a different plan to try to win the match and it worked well.

“We have trained a lot this season to try to improve. We had some bad results, but the humility was the key. We keep fighting and we keep our feet on the ground.”

Chelsea will be out to Hungary to face Videotown in their next game in the Europa League on Thursday while Manchester City will host Hoffenheim in the Champions League on Wednesday.
